For many years I have had people ask me when I was going to start selling my baked goods or when is the bakery going to open up in town? The kids are finally at the age where they will all be on their own soon, 1 left at home, and I finally got the guts to start the process to find out what it takes to open a home bakery. It felt right to start my new venture. Please know that I do not decorate fa

ncy...which means no wedding cakes. Wedding cupcakes, yes, but no wedding cakes. All items are made with flour, sugar, eggs, real butter and the occasional peanut, walnut, or Macadamia nut.. We are not gluten-free as our family is not gluten-free. All frosting is made from scratch with real butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese when needed and cream.

1. Retail therapy.

2. Freshly baked banana bread and a glass of wine therapy.
