Momma Hirl's Baking Cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, banana bread, muffins. I am a home baker that bakes from scratch I am a licensed/certified home baker.

For many years I have had people ask me when I was going to start selling my baked goods or when is the bakery going to open up in town? The kids are finally at the age where they will all be on their own soon, 1 left at home, and I finally got the guts to start the process to find out what it takes to open a home bakery. It felt right to start my new venture. Please know that I do not decorate fancy...which means no wedding cakes. Wedding cupcakes, yes, but no wedding cakes. All items are made with flour, sugar, eggs, real butter and the occasional peanut, walnut, or Macadamia nut.. We are not gluten-free as our family is not gluten-free. All frosting is made from scratch with real butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese when needed and cream.

We went to Apple’licious Pie Depot for "a quick pit stop" and came out with **four full pies** and **two massive cookies**—and then Clay proceeded to wear half the chocolate on his face!

* **Face Wipes Needed:** Approximately 47 🧻

Look at that face in the last picture—that is the face of a guy who fought the cookie, and while the cookie lost, it definitely left its mark!

Worth every single bite! 😂

Adventures with Momma: G**s Mills Edition - Episode 2 🍎🚜

Listen up, buttercups! **Adventures with Momma** (of *Momma Hirl's Baking* fame!) officially hit G**s Mills, Wisconsin—and the Midwest will never be the same.

The scenery? Bob Ross levels of gorgeous. The haul? Just a modest preview before the big multi-bushel trip in a couple of weeks!

The main event? **Momma managing to spill a case of Cortlands across the entire parking lot.** 🚨🍎

Did she panic? Please. Momma treated a box of rolling fruit under terrified sedans like a sport. And the locals couldn't have been sweeter about dodging apples!

Then, like a guardian angel sent from above, a kind stranger swooped in to help us pick them all up. And where were they originally from? **Jones County.** You cannot make this stuff up! Small world, huge hearts.

**The Verdict:** G**s Mills passed the vibe check, Momma's trunk smells amazing, and the people are saints. Until the next catastrophe... stay juicy!

Year THREE of this annual adventure, and if history has taught us anything, it's that we cannot be trusted to have a normal outing. 🤣

🍎 THE APPLE SHENANIGANS: Will we witness someone swapping their little apples for bigger apples from another case? You know… EXACTLY what the SIGN says NOT TO DO! 👀🍏 (Yes, I saw it happen last year. The audacity had me crunching imaginary popcorn.)

🍩 THE C***R DONUT DRAMA: Will they be fresh, warm, and ready to inhale? Or will we be standing around waiting like we're next in line for concert tickets?

🥧 THE GREAT STRAWBERRY RHUBARB PIE GAMBLE: Will the bakery down the road have a fresh-from-the-oven masterpiece? Or will I once again be bringing home a frozen pie and pretending my dreams haven't been crushed? 😂

🍂 THE FALL FOLIAGE FIASCO: Will the leaves be breathtaking shades of red, orange, and gold? Or will Mother Nature have packed up her decorations and left us staring at naked trees AGAIN?

Three years in, and we STILL don't know what we're getting into. Apples? Absolutely. Donuts? Hopefully. Pie? Pray for me. Shenanigans? ALMOST GUARANTEED. 🤣
