LONG AND IMPORTANT POST:
To all of our loyal and amazing customers,
We are so greatful and thankful for each and every one of you! As most of you know, this entire business is ran by myself and my husband. After what seems to be a string of bad luck and bad timing, we have decided to close the business indefinitely.
December of last year most of you remember my husband was in a car accident. The car was totalled out and he was bruised and had a broken foot. Finally heâs healed up great, but the loss of the vehicle really put a strain on the business, deliveries, markets, you name it. Cost of buying a new car right now is just insane.
Flash forward to February, we were given about 2 weeks notice that the shared kitchen we have been using for the last 2 years had been sold out beneath our feet. No real warning, no nothing. It was and still is a bit of a disaster. The new owners have a very large operation and itâs insanely difficult to find time to get in and store all of our items, especially when it comes to refrigeration. Most of you may have noticed you donât see our products in a few of our retailers, this is why. We canât produce enough with the time restrictions at the kitchen. We will be supplying products only to a few remaining businesses thru the end of March. Also, Iâd like to say we beat inflation, but the cost of ingredients really took a big toll on us.
Lastly, I suffer from a lot of lower back problems. My entire lower back and left leg have been out and inflamed now for almost a full month. Iâve struggled to get done what I could here and there, but sadly I havenât had any luck with relief. Seems it just keeps getting worse and worse. So between doctorâs appointments, MRIâs and bed rest, I feel with everything else happening around us itâs best to just allow myself to heal completely.
To anyone who has an event or wedding scheduled with us, youâre safe! I donât care if Iâm hobbling on one leg to get it done, it will get done and be amazing as always! If you have placed an online order with us, it will be fulfilled on time as per usual, but I will be taking down the online order point today. I donât know where the future may take us, and it is legitimately not the way I wanted my business to be here, but sometimes we have to just say, we did our best, we didnât fail, itâs just with all the odds stacked against us, we have to take the best offer we can. I will try my absolute best to be at 1st Friday in Tarpon on April 7th, as a final farewell, as long as Iâm healthy enough to do it, I will keep everyone posted!
