The Position

• Follow the guideline pictures to decorate the cake products.
• Assembly line tasks such as: decorating, cleaning, packaging, and palletizing all of the delicious baked goods that we produce.

• Follow all Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.

LaBree’s Bakery is looking for a full-time production line leader to oversee a team and manage the production process from mixing, following recipes, setting oven controls, and palletizing the finished product for one of our assembly lines. Days and nights available.

Our bakery was established in 1948 with a donut recipe, cutting board and fryer. Today we sell throughout the United States, Canada, Dubai and the Caribbean areas to many different stores including Hannaford and Shaw’s.

Pay: Dependent on experience. Base pay is $14.65

Who We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone with previous production lead experience, however, we are willing the train the right person if they have had prior management experience.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience of managing 10 of more associates.
• Able to work in an automated production environment.
• Clear communication skills.
• Able to foresee issues and troubleshoot.
• Reliable and punctual.

Desired, But Not Required, Qualifications
• College degree in Business Management
• Knowledge of Safe Quality Food (SQF) and General Manufacturing Practices (GMP) programs.

The Position

• Manage line efficiency, food safety, and promote team work.
• Ensure that the quality of the product meets the prescribed manufacturing standards.
• Follow all SQF and GMP guidelines throughout the entire production process.
• Verify production reports and make sure the information is correct.
• Plan, coordinate and maintain production on the line to minimize downtime.
• Complete all correlating paperwork in a timely manner.
• Train line associates on their various tasks.

- Background in mechanics.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to walk, stoop, crawl, lift and do all of the other physical aspects of the job.
- Neat handwriting.

Desired, But Not Required, Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership position.

The Position

This full time position works Thursday-Sunday. Thursday and Friday go from 5am to 5pm while Saturday and Sunday run from 7am to 3:30pm. The job duties include but are not limited to:

- Work in accordance with all safety programs including Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs.)
- Safely use all cleaning chemicals and equipment such as foamers and floor scrubbing machines.
- Disassemble equipment, sanitize, and put back together, replacing any seals that need replaced.
- Maintain and perform tasks on the master sanitation schedule.
- Perform plant janitorial duties.
