Josephine's Someone once asked me what it was I could do everyday for the rest of my life. It was simple. Bake! Baking has always been my passion.

I started as an assistant to the Pastry Chef at Saybrook Point Inn when I was only 16 and from there my love of baking flourished. I loved watching the joy and excitement on peoples faces when they took that first bite of sweet sugary heaven! Come to think of it, is there anything better? I bake everything from custom sugar cookies, the classic cookies, cupcakes, cakes, scones, cinnamon buns, and just about everything else in between. My signature birthday confetti cookies are quickly becoming a celebration staple and it makes my heart so happy. There truly is nothing better than personalized cookies to celebrate all of life's milestones and to give us the little reminder that life is just too short to worry about how many cookies you've had! I can't wait to create delicious memories for you! Thank you to everyone who has supported my dream!

Hey everyone! 🤍

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted around here, but I promise Josephine’s is still alive and well! Life has just been a little… full.

I finished EMT school and have been loving this new journey in EMS, so these days my schedule is split between working full time, making cakes, riding the ambulance, keeping up with kids’ sports, and occasionally attempting to squeeze in a little R&R somewhere in between. 🧁🚑⚽️✨

Basically, my plate is very full!

Because of that, cake orders are currently very limited. I’m still taking on a small number of orders when my schedule allows, but I’m definitely at full capacity right now and trying to be intentional about what I commit to so I can keep enjoying the creative side of this little business instead of turning it into one more thing I’m racing through. 🤍

Thank you so much to everyone who continues to think of me for your celebrations, recommends me to friends, and supports Josephine’s.

I’m still here — just usually covered in buttercream, wearing an EMT uniform, sitting at a soccer field, or desperately trying to remember what day it is. 💕
