Happy Spring, Pie Peeps! Thoughts are of bright flavors like lemon as in lemon hand pies. I juice and zest lemons, then add Maine Eggs, Maine Butter, just enough sugar to play off the tartness of the lemons, and a finish of Maine Sea Salt. The only thing missing are artificial colors and flavors! Find this and all of your favorites this weekend on Saturday at the biddefordpublicmarket and on Sunday at the Berwick Winter Farmers' Market from 10am-1pm 🍋🥧

I couldn’t have asked for a better car for my farmers’ markets than the 2015 Honda Fit I bought in 2018, which then morphed into the Piemobile. As the rust has made itself apparent, so has the signal for this version of the Piemobile to retire to whatever the afterlife has in store. Stay tuned for the next edition, bringing the hand pies to a farmers’ market near you 🚗🥧
