Hi Everyone!! After a LONG break....WE'RE BACK IN ACTION!!! Starting September 22nd at 8:00 a.m., we'll be meeting at The Sweet Life of Rosehill in Shawnee to deliver cupcakes to the residents. My good friend, Becca Blomker will be spearheading this delivery. We'll only be meeting once a month on the 4th Saturday to deliver cupcakes to The Sweet Life. Our Monday delivery has been postponed due to my newly expectant arrival in November...YAY!!!
Also, we will have our annual Cupcake Decorating Party at my home Friday, September 14th, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We'll give you a brief summary of our ministry, as well as learn how to decorate AWESOME, AMAZING cupcakes for the residents. It's always a good time. Hope to see you at both events!!

Cupcakes for Christ will mother meeting in tomorrow morning, April 9th, due to Easter weekend. We will try to reschedule for next Monday or the following Monday. I'll keep you posted! Thanks and Happy Easter!

Just a reminder..if you loaned your mini cupcake pan to help out with the Christmas program...you can pick them up in LBC's church kitchen. They are in the lower cabinets by the sinks. They'll only be there for a short time and then any left pans will be donated to City Union Mission. Also, I have 2 small ice cream scoopers if you're missing one. Thanks so much!!

Warmest wishes and many thanks to all those who helped out with the "Kansas City Christmas"!! We had many of you volunteer your time and energy into baking 3200 mini cupcakes for the event!! It was a HUGE SUCCESS and we could of never done it without your support!! We ended up having around 500 cupcakes left...BUT, we were able to donate those remaining cupcakes to The Quivira Place, Brighton Gardens of Prairie Village, City Union Mission, and LBC's Singles group!! YAY!!! Once again..thank you and we wish you a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!!!

REMINDERS.... First, if you're looking to help out with baking and decorating 2700 cupcakes for Lenexa Baptist's Christmas Program, "A Kansas City Christmas", we will meet at the kitchen in the church to bake on the following dates and times; Wednesday, November 30th and December 7th from 9:30 am-2:30 pm and 5:30 pm-8:30 pm. Also, Friday, December 9th from 9:00 am-3:00 pm and Saturday, December 10th from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Would LOVE to have LOTS AND LOTS of help :-)) Second, this Thursday night, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. is our "Bake and Taste" Cupcake Party at Jenn Mabe's home. Will be a great time learning how to decorate cupcakes like those trendy Cupcakery's!! Perfect for those Christmas parties coming up!! Also, we'll have fun GIVE-A-WAYS!!! YAY!!!!! Hope to see you at both events!!

LOOKING FOR HELP!!! Cupcakes for Christ has been asked to bake 2700 mini cupcakes for Lenexa Baptist Church's Christmas Program, "A Kansas City Christmas", on Saturday and Sunday, December 10th-11th. I am needing MANY hands to help out any way they can to make this a success!! Supplies will be provided. We'll be using the church's kitchen on the following dates: Wednesday, November 30th and Wednesday, December 7th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (childcare is available). Also Friday, December 9th and Saturday, December 10th from 9:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. Even if you can come for a short bit on any of these dates...we would be forever grateful. Will be a wonderful time working together as the body of Christ!! Let me know if you're available!! THANKS SO MUCH!!

Had an amazing time today with the folks at Brighton Gardens! So many ladies showed up with their kiddos to spread the love around. I was reminded today the importance of letting others know how much God loves them. Sweet lady was in tears immediately when one of our "Cupcake Crusaders" told her she was loved. In an instant she sobbed saying "I didn't know someone loved me so much. Thank you for telling me." It broke my heart to hear her hearts cry._
