Have Courage

Psalm 31:24 “Be strong, and let your heart be courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD.”

Maybe you don't feel particularly brave today. That's okay. Courage can simply be saying, “God, I'm trusting You enough to keep going.”

Lord, strengthen my heart. Give me courage for today and help me place my hope in You. Amen.

Your Safe Place

Psalm 91:2-3 I will say concerning the Lord, who is my refuge and my fortress,
my God in whom I trust: He himself will rescue you...

When everything around you feels uncertain, remember where your security comes from. God is your refuge. Before you run to worry, run to Him.

Lord, You are my refuge and my safe place. Help me put my trust completely in You. Amen.

Let God Lead

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with my eye on you, I will give counsel.

You don't have to have the whole plan figured out. Ask God for direction. Take the next faithful step. Then trust Him with the step after that. Sometimes faith simply means saying, “God, I don't know where this is going, but I trust You to lead me.”

Lord, guide my decisions and my steps. Help me follow Your direction instead of letting fear choose my path. Amen.

God Will Strengthen You

📖 Psalm 138:3 “In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.”

Some days we ask God to change our circumstances. Sometimes His answer is to give us the strength to walk through them. If today feels heavy, call on Him.

Lord, strengthen my soul today. Give me what I need for what is in front of me. Amen.

Choose Trust

📖 Psalm 112:7 “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.”

We can't control every phone call, diagnosis, bill, circumstance or piece of news that comes our way. But we can decide where our hearts will be anchored.
Let your heart be fixed on God, not fear.

Lord, steady my heart. Whatever news today brings, help me remain firmly rooted in You. Amen.

You Are Not Alone

📖 Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.”

Notice the verse says we walk through the valley. The valley isn't your permanent home. And while you're walking through it, God is walking with you.

Lord, when life feels dark or uncertain, remind me that I am never walking alone. Amen.

Give God Your Worries

📖 Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Before you worry about it, pray about it. Before you replay every possible outcome in your mind, place it in God's hands. Prayer may not immediately change the situation, but it changes how we walk through it.

Father, I give You the worries occupying my mind today. Replace my anxiety with Your peace and help me trust You. Amen.

📖 Matthew 11:28-30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

If you're tired—really tired—come to Jesus. He doesn't ask you to pretend you're okay. He invites you to rest in Him.

Jesus, I give You my burdens today. Help me rest in Your presence and trust You with what I cannot carry. Amen.
