Nana’s Sourdough S’mores Cookies

Let’s get something straight: I don’t usually trust cookies that try to do too much.

Sourdough and s’mores?

Sounds like a confused identity crisis in baked form. But Nana doesn’t play around. These cookies showed up like they were sent by a marshmallow-drenched angel who moonlights as a mad scientist.

Texture: Soft, chewy, and just the right kind of gooey in the center. The sourdough gives it this funky tang that slaps your taste buds awake like a cold morning in the woods, but the chocolate and marshmallow come in swinging with the comfort of a flannel blanket and a campfire song.

Simply a Crunchy perfection.

Flavor: You get hit with layers. First, the dark brown sugar rush of molassesy warmth. Then that sourdough tang creeps in like a plot twist you didn’t know you needed. Just when your mouth starts asking questions, BOOM!!! melted chocolate and toasted marshmallow punch through like a righteous sugar bomb.

Sweet vs Tang: This ain’t your grocery store cookie, it’s artisan chaos, and it works.

Look, Don’t ask questions just
eat ‘em up up up !!!

Meet the baker 👩🏻‍🍳🥖
We’ve got lots of new faces over here so we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves!
My name is Meagan Djuric and I have been baking sourdough since spring of 2019. During this time, I was finishing up my degree in Early Childhood Education looking for side hobbies. One of which, included sourdough! We started out by gifting our loaves to friends and family when they encouraged us to start selling our products. At the time, my sweet Nana lived with us and loved baking in the kitchen with me. She was my best taste tester and loved watching the stretch and fold process. We would tell stories and sing songs to Billie Holiday or Nat King Cole while the loaves baked. Sadly, in April of 2023 we lost her but I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to love her for so many years! Now, I get to live in her house (the house I grew up in!) with my sweet husband and bake in Nana’s kitchen. For the last 2 years I was a first grade teacher and it wasn’t until August of 2024 that we decided to take the leap in making this our full time business. Now, we get to nourish families with quality ingredients from “Nana’s Sourdough”. You can find us every other Saturday, as well as the mid-week market on our off weeks. We also take weekly orders through our porch pick ups! We are so glad you’re here.🤍
