This wedding season has been nothing short of extraordinary—overflowing with magic, love, and moments that take your breath away.

There’s so much to share, it’s hard to know where to begin. But Kelsey’s wedding feels like the perfect place to start.

Kelsey—and her sister Taylor—have been part of my cake journey for years. Their milestones have become woven into the fabric of my own story: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and sweet new additions to the family. It’s more than just cake. It’s connection. It’s the kind of bond that grows through handwritten notes, quick check-ins, and the joy of sharing extra treats after a long week.

Running a small bakery gives you a front-row seat to some of life’s most meaningful celebrations—and that, to me, is the greatest gift of all.

Kelsey’s wedding cake was the final delivery in a whirlwind week, and somehow it became the exclamation point to it all. As I placed the last finishing touch on-site, the sun came through the windows just right, the floral arrangements sang, and the table linen couldn’t have been more perfectly chosen. It was one of those rare, quiet moments where everything aligns. And then I looked up—and there was Kelsey. Radiant in her gown, surrounded by love.

That moment will live in my memory forever.

A perfect day for a truly beautiful family.

Married amongst the most perfect pastel floral background, the newlyweds ushered in a dreamy, intentional celebration for their special day.
The lighting was picture perfect, the family presence was brimming, and the overheard conversations while setting up their wedding cake highlighted that the bride and groom were surrounded by the biggest show of love.
John looked ever so dapper in his military white.
Hannah, the beautiful bride who never stopped smiling, is a grade school teacher. She had her students create centerpieces for each table, describing their own definition of love.
