A little update from us 🤍
My grandma recently had surgery and is now in recovery, but she will need a few more surgeries as she continues on her road to recovery. Right now she needs my time, my attention, and my love more than anything else. Because of this we will be closed Monday and Tuesday so I can be with her and focus on her recovery.
My grandma is such a huge part of the reason this bakery exists. She is the person who taught me how to bake, inspired my love for it, and even helped create some of the recipes we still use in our bakery today. So stepping away from the kitchen to be with her feels like exactly where I need to be right now.
For the time being all custom orders are on hold until my grandma is completely healthy and I am able to get back to work consistently. Right now I’m doing my best to juggle trips to the hospital, being there for my children, and running the bakery, but it has become a lot to manage. We will continue to keep all current clients updated if anything changes with their orders.
I know this is an inconvenience to all of you, and I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and kindness more than I can put into words. My bakery means so much to me, but family comes first, and right now I need to be exactly where my grandma needs me.
Thank you for loving and supporting my little bakery, for being patient with me, and for giving me the grace to take this time. Please keep my grandma in your thoughts as we navigate the days ahead.
I hope to be back in the kitchen with a full heart and a little more hope soon. 🫶
