Dear Blumchen fam,

2.5 year ago, I started this venture with a vision in mind to create the most beautiful floral desserts! It's been a steep learning journey, long days of standing on my feet for over 12 hours, cleaning my kitchen multiple times per day as I can't stand a messy environment and oh! baking & cake decorating comes with so much mess!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ There were SO many days that I woke up at 4 am to ensure that everything goes according to the plan & I could manage my other job, my kids, and our life and ended up the day with extreme back pain! But I did it and to tell you the truth, seeing the excitement in your eyes when you picked up your order & the great feedbacks that I've received after almost any order, had taken away all that exhaustion in a heartbeat! 🤍

However, at this point I desperately need a break, both mentally and physically from managing two jobs at once. I feel I'm the luckiest person to have two jobs that I absolutely love but I also believe that we need to constantly prioritize our lives and for me that means giving this venture a pause and focusing on my career. This was definitely not an easy decision 🥺.

This is not a good bye, just a "see you soon"! I still have big plans for Blumchen Bakery, just waiting for the right time 😊

Thanks for making this period the sweetest period of my life, literally! I appreciate you all & I'll miss you.
