Some simple cupcakes for a very special couple. 🧁🤍 Sometimes the sweetest celebrations are the quiet ones, and I was so happy to make these for someone very close to me as they celebrated their marriage.

And because baking likes to keep me humble… the cupcakes decided they wanted to melt faster than I could frost them. 😅 They may not be flawless, but they’re homemade, heartfelt, and made with lots of love.

Fresh out of the oven!

Today’s sourdough discard baguettes came in two delicious varieties:

🥖✨ Plain Rustic Baguette
🧄🧀 Garlic & Cheese Baguette, topped with a garlic cheese spread and baked until golden and bubbly.

There’s just something about warm, homemade bread that makes a house feel like home. ❤️

And a little reminder from today’s bake: not every loaf turns out exactly as planned, sometimes one loaf decides it’d rather become two. And sometimes bread has a mind of its own while rising. 😅 That’s the beauty of homemade. Every bake teaches you something, and even the “imperfect” ones are still fresh, delicious, and made with love.

Not every sourdough loaf turns out exactly as planned, but sometimes the best recipes come from happy accidents. This over-proofed dough got a second chance, topped with garlic and plenty of melty cheese then baked into a golden, fluffy focaccia that’s packed with flavor.
Proof that even the “imperfect” bakes can become something absolutely delicious. 💛🍞
