How can a, well as of today, a 18 yr old young man be my HERO???
He started karate ( jujitsu and boxing came later)at 5 yrs old and due to his relentless hard work he became a well earned 3rd degree black belt with crazy fighting skills to back it up. So RELENTLESS HARD WORK, kid you are my Hero!
Took up chess in 2nd grade and with his well strategic mindset became a chess champion 3 yrs in a row, kid you are my Hero!
Got his associates from OC as a 11th grader at 16, so much determination and hard work. Achieved this with unfortunate life struggles he had no control, but had to live thru, kid you are my Hero!
Not only did he attend, he conquered a year of High school in Japan at 16 - 17 by himself. Gave a speech in Japanese to 100s of Japanese, the mayor, the US Embassy and all the top news stations in japan. So much Confidence, kid you are my Hero!

I have failed you so many times, but you still look at me like im everything to you. I fail so you don't have to, kid you are my Hero!
The saying " it takes a village" is so true, where I have failed you, we have plenty to fill in, one amazing village we have with one concrete Boulder that holds it together for us "your sister". You have always been good with what life thru at you, kid you are my Hero!
Now that you are 18, I'm afraid I didn't teach you enough, but with all these life skills and achievements, kid I know you are gonna be fine. A 18 year old super Latino, kid that's why you are my Hero!
Happy Birthday, Bud!
Love you!
