Sweet Southern Pie Company

As many of you know, after 28 years of hard work and dedication, I retired from my career in healthcare this past April. It was a bittersweet decision, but I knew my chapter was complete, and I walked away from that long season with confidence that God was leading me down a new path and that He would open the right doors to a new season in life. One of the most important lessons I have learned in

emergency nursing was that life is short. You only get one shot at it, and you need to make it count, not be afraid, and follow your heart and dreams. The last two months I have purposefully slowed down and cleared my schedule to just breathe deep and rest. It is during this time that God started stirring up a dream that I have had tucked inside this Southern heart of mine for a while. I am beyond excited to announce that that dream is becoming a reality in my new business, “Sweet Southern Pie Company”. The story behind this dream of mine actually started over a decade ago, tucked away in the middle of a handwritten cookbook that was passed down to me from my aunt. Every holiday and special family get-together, I would pull out that worn cookbook and flip to page 43. Through the smudges and stains of a much-used page, I refreshed my memory on the ingredients and instructions for a delicious pie, which (as all favorite recipes do) became synonymous with family, love, and memories. What started out as 2-3 pies for a holiday gathering, easily grew to 10-12 pies for loved friends, neighbors, and take-home pies for others to share at their special gatherings. Over the past two months, I have spent much time creating and baking new versions of my special pie (special thanks to all my willing taste testers). What started out as one pie has now evolved into a menu featuring six different pies with additional add on options. I have even created mini pies to complement the full-sized selection menu, perfect for thoughtful and creative gifts for your loved ones. Each pie is packaged and prepared in a specialty box, making it the perfect go-to for that holiday gift or special event. I am even accepting bookings to provide pie bars for special events (weddings, baby showers, etc.). If you are interested in ordering information, please PM or text me.
