Update on my grandma ♥️

I made it up there to visit her right before she went in for her second surgery. 🙏

I just got the word that she is now out of her surgery, and is doing good.

Let the healing begin. 😩♥️🙏

This poor woman has gone through a lot the past couple days, and it breaks my heart knowing she is going through all this.

I just hope she heals up quickly and gets back to her spunky self soon ♥️🙏

I remember when my husband and I were looking for a puppy. We may have 5 kids, but we were missing something. A dog.

It took us a while to find the one we wanted, but my husband came across this liter, and it was love at first sight.

I remember driving by myself about an hour and a half away, to go get him. When I pulled in, him and his owner were standing there waiting for me.

He was exactly 3 months old that day. His life as he knew it was about to change forever.

He was really scared. Wasn’t used to people or playing, or anything outside of that barn. As he sat in the passenger seat I promised him that we were going to give him the best life we could and was safe with us. (Yes I actually told him that out loud.)

My kids had no idea that we were getting a new puppy, so when I got home and came inside with him, they were in shock.

Everybody rushed to greet him with love, and from that day, he has been part of the family. We knew we wanted a dog, but I didn’t know how much I really needed him. I think I can say that for my husband as well.

After a month or so, he got used to life inside, a family who loves him, the endless ear scratches, and the chaos this family runs on.

From a fluffy little teddy bear to a gentle giant. He is such a sweet boy, and I couldn’t imagine life without him.
