The Green sheepcamp is the 1st sheepcamp I built. The Brown sheepcamp I built for a person who raises goats, and needed a home for his herder.. We use the Green sheepcamp to stay in while doing our Dutch Oven catering, and also to cook from. It has a Queen size bed in it, and can be towed at up to 85mph without weaving. We carry 6 propane tanks in one of the side boxes and 3 two burner and 3 single burner gas cookers in the other box. Under the bed we carry six 17" 20qt dutch ovens, two 17" 30 qt dutch ovens a 36" x18" griddle and 2 more 2 burner gas cookers. We also have a canvas "awning" that goes out 12' from the camp that provides us with shade or protection from wind, snow, and rain. This sheepcamp is also used as a spare room when family visit. This is the ARC it was a fun building to both design as well as to build. It has a loft in it that is half the length of the building. the building is 20'wide and 36' long with the loft being 16' by 18' giving me about 1,000' of floor space. It is extreamly strong, with both sides of the trussed arches being covered with 7/16" OSB. The total cost to make the ARC was about $7000.00. I'm now thinking of making a smaller version to house a 8,000 lb lathe that is too big to move into my shop, so I may build an ARC around it. They can be made as small as 10'wide by as long as you want, to as large as 20' wide as long as you want. A great & inexpensive out building. They can also be covered with greenhouse plastic or canvas for growing plants year round or as a temporary shelter.
