A little life update from our family 🤍

Our household has been hit pretty hard with Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, and unfortunately, it has taken all of us down.

For the health and safety of our team, customers, and community, we’ll be taking the rest of this week to simply rest, recover, and heal.

As small business owners, stepping away is never easy, especially during our busiest season, but right now, our family’s health has to come first.

We’re giving our bodies the time they need, and we’re looking forward to being back at it next week with Dorthy, cookies, and all the good stuff. 🍪🤎

And we have to give the BIGGEST, most heartfelt shoutout to Sweet Rush Baking Co. for stepping in and taking on this weekend’s wedding for us. ❤️ There truly aren’t enough words to express how thankful we are for your friendship and for being willing to jump in when we needed help the most. This is what community over competition looks like, and we are beyond grateful to have you in our corner.

Thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding, and all the kindness you’ve shown our family.

We came prepared.

We came ready to serve our community.

Locally sourced peaches. Organic blackberries and apples. Fresh lemons, limes and dragon fruit. Real fruit purées. Organic coffee and lemonade.

Because we believe your drinks should taste like the ingredients they’re named after, not be loaded with overly sugary syrups, artificial flavors and unnecessary additives. Which means everything we have is perishable.

We planned, prepped and purchased for the crowds we were expecting.

And this is the part that hurts.

Gallons of organic agua fresca, organic cold brew and lemonade, down the drain.

Fresh ingredients we simply can’t save.

We’re walking away from this weekend with one of the biggest losses we’ve experienced as a small business.

Not because we didn’t prepare.

We prepared TOO well.

The good news? Our 45 gallons of water won’t expire. 😂

The 250 pounds of ice?

It’s currently melting away with our profits. 🫠

Small business is wild.

Some weekends remind you why you started.

Others humble the absolute hell out of you.

This was one of those weekends.

Our little community takeaway: when you show up for a small business, your purchase matters more than you probably realize. Every drink, every cookie and every “we came to support you” truly makes a difference. 🤍

We’ll regroup, learn from it and keep going.
