The first time I ever had rosehips was in rosehip juice in Sweden and Denmark when I was 19-20. Since then I've enjoyed many cups of my own homemade juice and teas made from wild and cultivated rosehips, the best come from the Rosa Rugosa, or beach roses that are so plentiful on the New England and mid Atlantic coasts. They are so incredibly beautiful to use in still life painting and drawing as well!
