Today’s eggs are SOLD OUT but read this post if you’re interested in fresh egg subscription!

My sister in law has 14 hens and was drowning in eggs this summer. Egg production slows down quite a bit during the winter, but once laying picks back up next spring, she’s hoping to have about 10 regular customers who would like to pick up a dozen each week from her home in Vadnais Heights. She wants to get her list finalized this winter so she can hit the ground running in the spring and avoid getting overwhelmed with eggs again like she did this year!

Today was my most grueling bake day to date. Even my Garmin knows it was a demanding day 😅 My starter was extra slow after a strong feed and peaked eight hours later than I needed it to, which turned my bake day into a 31 hour work shift. I started at 9 AM yesterday and worked straight through the night until 4 PM today.

I made over 320 muffins, 90 loaves of bread, and 75 cinnamon rolls. Thank you all so much for the amazing support at today’s sale and for being patient with my unpredictable schedule this week. Now that I’ve had a chance to breathe and look at my personal schedule, I’ve decided that my next sale will be a farmstand sale this Saturday, October 17! I’ll announce the menu and event details tomorrow, and I’ll also post the flavor poll for the next round of voting for the new menu.

(The rest of today’s orders are still on the shelf, my husband will bring any “no shows” inside at 9:30pm & I will return them back to the shelf tomorrow morning at 8:30am)

With that, I’m going to bed. 🥱
