Professionally trained in cullinary/pastry arts, ServeSafe certified and a Veteran-owned business. I've had a passion to cook and bake all my life. After spending 20 years in the USAF, I retired in 2014 and took care of my family full time. I began bread baking in 2013 when I started reading food labels and learning about how our food is made. This started me down the rabbit hole into "real" food

and a curiosity into figuring out how to keep processed food at a minimum in our family...that meant cooking and baking from scratch and learning some science behind how items are prepared. After retirement from the military, my dream was to one day go to culinary school. I accomplished that dream in 2023, by not only completing a culinary arts degree, but also a pastry arts degree. I love to make wholesome, good food. All of my breads are made with organic wheat flours, organic milk and my croissants are made with grass-fed or European-style butter. My cakes are made with unbleached cake flour, non-seed oils, pasture-raised eggs and only real butter goes into my buttercream. I prepare food for you like I would for my own family. I look forward to getting to know the people I serve and would love to bake for you!

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write. After several wonderful years of baking for this amazing community, I’ve made the decision to begin “sunsetting” my business and officially close 1 January 2026. My husband is retiring from the Air Force, and we’ll soon be moving out of Illinois to begin a new chapter in our lives.

Thank you for letting me be part of your birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and “just because” moments. You’ve trusted me with your sweetest celebrations, and allowed me to provide nutritous sourdough bread to your families-and that means more than I can ever say.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for your love, your support, and for making One Fine Krumb such a special part of this community. I’m hoping to pick back up in the future-and have the same love and support wherever we land.

Recent order for a photo shoot. I scratched my head on color choices for this cake (it wasn’t Christmas “yet”, but was giving me a Christmas photoshoot vibe). I spy my cake!! This was so cool!!

Did you know I can also make custom toppers for your cakes, both edible and in board form? I had a customer in a bind, she had ordered toppers and was missing the main topper when they arrived-I was happy help! If you ever find yourself needing just toppers for cupcakes or your own cake-let me know!

Dance team “National Champs” cake! This little cutie was a custom “custom” cake based off the girls’ dances and a solo. Super fun to get free rein with sparkles and edible glitter! ✨✨✨
