Hermit Café & Bookstore
For everyone following along: The Hermit will be a used bookstore, bakery, and bistro‑style café.
We’ll be serving breakfast and lunch, along with house‑made breads and pastries. The food will be simple, from‑scratch, and seasonal — not a formal farm‑to‑table restaurant, but very much in that spirit of fresh, local, and straightforward.
The bookstore will feature a large, well‑curated used collection with new and local titles to round out the collection.
The Hermit will also be a community space for small events, readings, gatherings, and the kinds of things that bring people together in the West End.
We've been remodeling our building in Nucla for the last year and we're getting more excited as the vision comes together! We’ll keep sharing updates as we move into the final phase.
