Many of my followers know, LB&M closed more than two years ago. Lulu continued accepting some catering and cake orders; however, now no longer takes orders.

Instead, Lulu (a former educator) works in her community of Notasulga operating a nonprofit corporation. In less than two years, the foundation has grown, and plans are in place for greater growth and family support.

To help fund foundation events and projects, Lulu will likely host bake sales, classes, and possibly other food-related events.

Please like and follow . Your support will make a difference in the lives of children and families in our area.

Finally, on Monday, Oct. 7, Lulu’s Bakery & Market social media pages will be deleted.

SHOE DRIVE IS DONE! 2,505 pairs of shoes collected and shipped off. That’s 100 bags, 25 pairs per bag, plus 5 extra pairs. FNS will receive $1,000, and people in third world countries will benefit from the shoes. Many, many thanks to everyone who contributed and help make this project a success!! Special thanks to Mercantile on Main for storing shoes throughout collection.
