Looking back on 2025, it’s clear this was a year of growth, creativity, and discovery for bakers everywhere — and King Arthur was proud to help lead the way. Through trusted resources, inspiring recipes, and hands-on education, we helped bakers build skills and deepen their love of the craft.
In the spring, we launched our first podcast, Things Bakers Know, which quickly found its audience. With 15 episodes and counting, the show earned Gold and Listener’s Choice Signal Awards for Brand Storytelling in the Arts, climbed to #1 on Apple Podcasts’ Arts chart ( #14 overall), and was recognized with an Ambies Award nomination.
Our 17-year-old YouTube channel continued to educate and inspire, following Baking Ambassador Martin Philip on his bread- and pizza-making adventures. Engagement grew across the board: total views more than doubled and subscribers increased by 20%.
Baking School On-Demand also expanded, with 16 new digital classes covering everything from sourdough basics to cookie decorating. Monthly course launches and guest instructors like Erin Jeanne McDowell and Lasheeda Perry brought fresh expertise to students. Sales increased 150%, reaching 70% more learners than the year before.
We also celebrated milestones in publishing: Sweet & Salty! became a New York Times bestseller, while The Big Book of Bread earned recognition from both the IACP and the James Beard Awards.
This past year reminded us why we do what we do: inspiring bakers, sharing knowledge, and celebrating the joy of baking. We’re proud of what we accomplished — and excited for what 2026 will bring.
