Café Nomad will be closed Friday, January 30.

We’re joining the National Shutdown as a quiet act of solidarity with members of our community who are experiencing fear and uncertainty due to immigration enforcement actions happening across the country.

Café Nomad exists to be a welcoming, human-centered space. Closing for one day is our way of standing by that value.

January artist of the month is Carolyn Griffin!

Carolyn is a Maine artist, writer and musician.
Enthralled with the birch tree, its beauty and lore, Carolyn is showing her collection “Essence of Birches” this month at Cafe Nomad. These pieces are created with a layered process with the rebirth process and growth of birch trees in mind.
