✨THE STAND IS OPEN, ORDERS ARE OUT ✨

Today is a GREAT day to buy bread because it turned out so gorgeous 😍

Also if you’re like me and you’re trying to savor every last second of Summer you have to try the Peach & Blueberry Fritter Cake, you can eat is as is it’s got a vanilla bean glaze on top or warmed up with a little icecream! It seriously tastes like summer in a cake and is just bursting with fresh fruit flavors 🍑🫐🌞

✨THE STAND IS OPEN, ORDERS ARE OUT!✨

I’m so happy to be back and baking for you all. This weeks treats are delicious, I had to save a S’mores bar for myself and I have to say I might prefer it over a campfire s’more 🤭

I also had extra peach cobbler filling so I made some actual peach cobbler for you to heat up and enjoy with icecream! 😋

There are flower bouquets you can reserve by commenting or messaging to claim!

Yesterday we laid to rest the best dog in the world and my soul animal, Ruby. She passed a few hours before we got back from vacation and I don’t know how to reconcile with the fact that we didn’t get to say goodbye. I can only hope she knew how loved and cherished she was, but it is something that’s going to lay heavy on my heart for a long time.

Ruby was the most loving dog, she loved meeting new people, she loved adventures, hiking, going new places. I got her when I was 14, a few months after my father passed away. Ruby knew so many different versions of me. She helped soothe the soul of a broken hearted kid, met every partner I had, moved to every house, was there when I settled down and started my family. She was a constant presence while I found my way through the world. Her loss hasn’t hit me in a big way yet but in all the little moments. I still expect to see her waiting at the door for me when I get home, racing out to the garden with me, helping me feel safe when I close the stand at night, cleaning up after the kids when they inevitably drop dinner on the floor. Every photo we take at home Ruby was in the background. I can’t help but feel like I wish I had done more, appreciated her more, I always thought I’d have more time, get a warning, but it’s the cruelest reminder that life is short an we can’t take it or those we love for granted.

Rest easy Rubes, until we meet again 🤍

My first dahlias bloomed so you know what that means. Bouquet time!

I think the name of this dahlia is Gerrie Hoek but I’m not positive. I definitely need a better labeling system in the future!

I loved the colors used here, and my bouquets have really needed a focal flowers and these dahlias are just so pretty! But I still need to work on honing in my vision for these bouquets so they don’t all end up looking the same. This is my first year though growing cut flowers so I’m giving myself grace and enjoying the process. Do you have any flower growing or bouquet making tips?
