We find ourselves here, on the eve of summer, eagerly anticipating the summer fruits, vegetables and sunshine, but finals not so much.
Given those considerations, next week will be the last of selling bread for the term for me until the fall, but I'm going to try to make the bread a bit 'springy' as a result. These breads are also the requests of Ellis Johnston, incredibly consistent customer and animated and enthusiastic reviewer. Thanks for responding to all those annoying emails, Ellis.
Logistics at bottom. All loaves will be available as minis as well.
On offer this week:
Classic (honestly, I've run out of things to say):
(picture 1)
Sweet peanut butter raisin-flecked bread (you read that right, peanut butter and raisins in a sweet loaf): imagine dark gems studding the loaf in this picture, since the loaf is improvised
(picture 2)
Savory caprese bread (this is where the spring comes in, this bread is chocked full of mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and basil in a loaf resembling foccacia, but more biscuit-y):
(picture 3)
Logistics: Please let me know (email dillons) by friday night/saturday morning what your order is (there is no volume limit). Loaves are $5 a piece and can alternatively be ordered as several mini-loaves (perfect for bread bowls). Pickup is mid morning to 5 on sunday and you pay upon receipt of the bread.
Finish the term strong!
