We are a welcoming, comfortable, community gathering spot serving high quality coffee, tea, and baked goods for over 17 years. We offer free WiFi, as well as a free public kiosk. to 6:00 p.m. seven days a week, 363 days a year (closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).

our 2026 pride menu features drinks named after northfield’s very own drag performers (Moxie Moxie & Jae Jem) and for the month of june, we will be donating $1 from each pride drink to the Northfield Union of Youth!

🌈 moxie blues: shaken espresso with blackberry, mint, and milk of choice
💜 jae jemonade: sparkling lemonade made with violet

last year, we introduced our first pride menu in support of the NUY and we’ll be supporting them again this pride season with our friends at Queenie's Salon Studio & Imminent Brewing!

Imminent Brewing will be donating their proceeds from their $1 glitter-up campaign and Queenie's Salon Studio will be donating all of their proceeds from their tinsel and tape-in extensions service ✨

soft (& hard) launch of our new hours ‼️

gbm will be open until 8pm march 12-14 and starting april 1, we’ll be open until 8pm wednesdays through saturdays. we will change back to the 6:30am-6pm hours during summer.

we’ll have a new mocktail for the evening, but your same favorite baristas and playlists 🙂‍↕️

tomorrow jan. 23 we’re offering our shop as a safe, warm gathering spot to our community. we recognize it shouldn’t be business as usual and we also recognize that our mission as a local gathering space allows us to offer public resources to our community. we wholeheartedly support the choice not to participate in commerce on this day of action and none of our resources require a purchase. these are the resources we’ll have available:

-Free drip coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-A public restroom during open hours (6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
-Our space will remain open as a spot to donate high-priority items, warm up, hydrate, and recenter (6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
-Sign making supplies will be available starting at 7 a.m.
-Our owner’s mom and a few of her friends have volunteered to be present starting at noon and watch kids if folks want to participate in the Bridge Square protest starting at 2 p.m.
-Coloring books and coloring supplies will also be available for the day
-Free “Melt Ice” stickers made by our barista .acorn.queen

we want to make ourselves abundantly clear: ICE has absolutely no place in Minneapolis and the broader Minnesota community, including Northfield. We love and support our immigrant neighbors and cannot stand by as our own community members are afraid to leave their homes.

we will remain open on Friday, January 23 to offer folks a spot to warm up, a restroom, and a safe space to connect. we will also be accepting supply and food donations that will go directly to northfield community members. these items include, but are not limited to: menstrual products, baby formula, diapers, non-perishable canned goods, white rice, cooking oil, and flour. we will continue to accept these donations for as long as the community needs them. items can be dropped off at goodbye blue monday.

continue showing up for the community and supporting local businesses, and take care of each other.
