Well… that’s a wrap. 💛

Yesterday was my final day behind the counter, and I’m still trying to put into words what I’m feeling. Walking out of the bakery was something I’ll never forget.

Thank you. Truly. For every order, every kind word, every smile, and every memory we’ve shared over the years. You didn’t just support a small business — you became part of my life, and I will carry that with me.

I’m so grateful for the incredible send-off you gave me this past week. The love in that shop was something special, and I felt every bit of it.

Now it’s time for me to slow down, sleep in (finally!), and enjoy this next chapter of retirement… but I will always cherish the years I spent baking for all of you.

Today my heart is extra full 💐

A huge thank you to one of my wonderful customers Daniela Loftin and her two sweet little girls for the beautiful retirement flowers. You have no idea how much that meant to me today—it was exactly what I needed and it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.

Moments like this remind me just how lucky I’ve been all these years. I truly have the BEST customers—kind, thoughtful, and always showing up with love when it matters most.

I’m going to miss you all more than words can say, but I’ll carry these memories (and these flowers 💕) with me into this next chapter. Thank you for making this journey so special. 🌸

Well… I was not prepared for this 🥹

A sweet customer brought in a watercolor painting of the bakery as a retirement gift, and let me tell you—it is SO awesome and so incredibly thoughtful. These last few weeks have been full of moments like this, and wow… the emotions are real.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you who has supported us, stopped in, shared memories, or just came by to wish me well. It truly means more than I can put into words (even if I’ve been trying not to cry while working… no promises there 😅).

You all are simply amazing! ❤️

And don’t worry—I’m not going far! I live right here in good old Northfield, so you’ll still see me out and about, probably with coffee in hand and no alarm clock 😄

We’ve got TWO more days to grab your favorite sweet treats before we officially wrap things up, and I would absolutely love to see you!
