WOW!!!! Our hearts are full in a way we still can’t fully put into words.

We are deeply honored, humbled, and profoundly grateful for the proclamation of May 31st as “Beyond Bagels Day” in North Reading, and for the love, patience, and kindness this community has shown us since announcing our closure.

Now that our final day has passed, we’ve had time to truly take it all in — and what we feel most is immense gratitude.

The sight of so many of you lining up one last time, waiting patiently for a coffee, a bagel, or your favorite sandwich, will stay with us forever. So many tears were shared, so many hugs held a little longer, so many memories spoken out loud like they mattered — because they truly did.

The flowers, cards, gifts, and endless kind words surrounded us in a way that felt overwhelming in the most beautiful sense. We were reminded every single day that this wasn’t just a business. It was a place that meant something real to people — and that is a rare and precious gift.

For 24 years, North Reading gave us far more than a place to work. You gave us purpose, connection, friendship, and a sense of belonging we will carry for the rest of our lives. There is truly no other community we would have rather built Beyond Bagels in. You showed up for us — not just in these final weeks, but for two decades — in ways we will never forget.

Beyond Bagels has always been about kindness and respect expressed through food. Every bagel, every cup of coffee, every sandwich was made with care for a community that became family to us. That will always remain the heart of who we are.

We will miss you more than words can express, but we are endlessly thankful for every moment we shared.

Please continue to tag us and share your photos and videos — we truly treasure them and will hold them for a lifetime, feeling deeply grateful and humbled.

And to those asking what’s next for us… maybe a flower shop, judging by all these beautiful bouquets. Just kidding. 🌸 💐 😉

This week, we’re celebrating the smiling faces behind all the memories at Beyond Bagels. 💛🥯

Over the next few days, we’ll be snapping photos of our wonderful customers, friends, and neighbors to create a little collage of the community that gave this shop its magic. So if you pop in for a bagel and we ask for a quick selfie, don’t be surprised — you might just become part of the Beyond Bagels memory wall! 📸✨

We are deeply honored and grateful for the proclamation of May 31st as “Beyond Bagels Day” in North Reading, and for the overwhelming love, support, kind words, and memories you’ve shared with us since announcing our impending closure.

As we prepare for our final day on 5/31/26, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Seeing so many familiar faces stop by the shop—especially those we haven’t seen in quite some time, along with our loyal regulars who have supported us day in and day out—has meant more to us than words can express. It has also been so wonderful to see new faces discovering us for the very first time. Thank you for stopping by and showing your support—it truly means the world to us.

As we wind down, we also invite you to share your photos and memories of your time at Beyond Bagels with us on our social media page. These moments will be a cherished keepsake as we close this chapter, and we would be deeply grateful to carry them forward with us.

For 24 years, it has been an absolute privilege to be part of this community. North Reading has given us so much more than the opportunity to serve food—you gave us friendships, conversations, laughter, community and memories we will carry with us forever.

For our family, food has always been how we show love. Every bagel, muffin, sandwich, coffee, soup and conversation came from a place of genuine care and appreciation for the people who became part of our lives over the years. Beyond Bagels became a second home because of you.

There are truly no words that can fully express how thankful we are for your kindness, loyalty, and support. You welcomed our family into this community and allowed us to be part of your daily routines, milestones, and memories, and that is something we will never take for granted.

We’re here through 5/31/26, and we look forward to seeing many more of you before we close. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for everything. ❤️🥯☕️
