Three Sweet Sisters

Three Sweet Sisters Bakery...the way it should be made Our love of baking started many years ago. Through the years, we have not found recipes that were better!

We grew up in a very close family and had a wonderful Mom, Edythe, who served dessert after dinner every day. Our Grandma, Florence, was up baking every morning at 5am, so we were always eager to sleep over at grandma’s. Mom made the best pies, cheesecake and kuchens, while grandma’s specialties were strudel, ladylocks, pita (not the bread), nut cups and custard squares. We are licensed by the Sta

te of Ohio to bake in our homes. Our business is new (May 2014), but our recipes are not, as they are all tried and true. We have not changed them in any way. Not all came from Mom and Grandma. We brought together our best recipes through the years – they are all from scratch and have a special ingredient, flavor and/or texture. We are “Three Sweet Sisters,” tied together with heartstrings, who would love to share our pastries with you! We are located in Parma, Lakewood and North Olmsted. Thanks to all family and friends who, over the years, encouraged us to start our business!

When Three Sweet Sisters started 5 years ago, we had a nagging feeling that when God gives someone a talent, whatever it is, it is meant to be used to help others. In that spirit, we have decided to donate 50% of what we make on the sale of our Flower Cupcake Arrangements or Specialty Frosted Cookies to St. Augustine Hunger Center in Cleveland. We feel this is a wonderful cause and we hope you will help us to help them feed the hungry in Cleveland.

The cookies and cupcake arrangements are perfect for any occasion, especially for holidays, baby or wedding showers. We charge $2.50 per cookie and $2.00 per cupcake + packaging. Below are pictures of cupcake arrangements and decorated cookies. Please respond to this post if you are interested. We can do a variety of cookies or flowers on the cupcakes.

We hope you will also keep our other baked goods and pastries in mind for parties, showers, holidays, picnics or any occasion. We have included pictures of some of them. Our holiday pretzel breads are quite popular at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, as well as footballs as an appetizer for game-watching parties and American Flags for summer holidays. Our strudels and pies are grandma's and mom's recipes, are made from scratch and are what we are most noted for. Other bakery available but not pictured: nut crescents or nut cups ($10.00 per dozen - minimum order 2 dozen), lady locks ($18.00 per dozen-minimum order 2 dozen), Dutch apple cakes ($10.00 each),large chocolate chip cookies ($12.00per dozen - minimum order 2 dozen) lemon meltaway cookies ($10.00 per dozen).

We LOVE to bake and would love to be part of your celebrations!

So, we're not going to be able to do any more farmer's markets this year. Michelle fell down Sunday and broke her foot. She's doing okay, but she won't be able to be on her feet baking for a while. It'll be too hard to do with just two of us. Pam and Sue start back to work in a couple weeks, too. We're planning on being at the Normandy Craft Fair (Parma) in December. We want to thank everyone who came to the markets and bought our bakery. We appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed our pastries! See you at the Parma Hospital Farmer's Market next year!

Off to Frostville again tomorrow! All you have to do is drive to Cedar Point Rd. in the Metroparks, walk to the Three Sweet Sisters booth, buy some pastry and enjoy!!!!!!!!! It's that easy!!!!
