After much thought, and many prayers, I’ve decided to permanently close down my cake business. I want to thank all my loyal customers and friends who made cake journey possible. It was my privilege to create all these special cakes for you, and hope they brought some joy into your lives. I also want to thank everyone who prayed for me during my cancer. I know it was through the grace of God that I am still here today, fully enjoying my life. I am going to leave my site up for a couple weeks just in case anyone wants to look through the pictures to save those of your cakes. I hope these photos bring back some great memories. Again, thanks.

Wanted to wish everyone a Happy Saint Patrick Day!!! Update on my Chemo journey. I’ve had four bi-weekly chemo treatments and next I start on 12 weekly treatments. Surgery will probably be sometime in May. Overall I’ve done pretty good so far, except having to spend a few days in hospital due to complications with blood clots where they put in my port to receive chemo. Taking it a day at the time. Have had wonderful support from family and friends, which I really appreciate. My faith in God will continue to get me through this. Hopefully I’ll be back to baking later this summer. Love to all!!!

I’m sad to say, but I’m going to have to back away from my baking business for the next few months. I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and I have to start 20 weeks of chemotherapy next Friday. After that, I’ll be having a double mastectomy. I have no doubt I’ll be beating this terrible disease!! I am fortunate to have a great support group of family and close friends to help me along this journey. I want to thank all my loyal customers. It has been my privilege to create these cakes for all your celebrations. With God’s good grace, I’ll be back baking soon!! Again, my sincere thanks.
