Hey Bread Lovers,

Sooo… today is Wednesday and you might think it is a market day for Bread Guy Breads… whoopsy… we are not going to be at the market today, we had to take this one off for personnel reasons. Again, if you're looking for us at the market today, whoops… we are only at the store today and we are open all day, till 5:00 pm. Grafton Farmers Market is open and please, please stop by and support those vendors, then come here and buy bread and baked goods,

Speaking of whoops… today is still Whoopie Pie Wednesday even if we are not going to the market today. Yep, we have whoopie pies, and hand pies, and all sorts of pie like things. Plus, today is also Pumpernickel Rye day. We made a nice looking batch of pumpernickel rye this morning.

Yesterday we sold out really early, thank you to everyone for stopping by and we made more bread today. I felt bad turning people away but we sold everything we made for a normal Tuesday. We have lots today so please come back and grab some bread that we ran out of yesterday.

OK, I am going to put together the schedule for fall classes this weekend. I am hoping to get 7 or 8 sessions in before we get to the holiday season. I will have a few level two classes but most of them will be level one sessions.

Another thing to be aware of, we will be closed October 3rd - October 12th for family events. I want to try to get this out really early to minimize the number of people that stop by when we are closed. SO! Make plans to stock up, we have month left before we take some time off.

My AI Version…
**OK, no market for us today.
**Whoopie Pie Wednesday
**Pumpernickel Day
**Classes are happening in the fall
**Closing for a week in early October

That it for now,
See you at the store… not the market
Thanks,
Chuck

Morning Bread Lovers!

Happy Tuesday!!! We are ready to go this morning and we made a couple of fun things this morning beyond our regular menu. Just a heads up, we are going to stop making the blueberry swirl until next spring and summer. This week we will be adding some fall breads, playing with some new flavors for cinnamon rolls, muffins and quick breads. Pumpkin products will be on the menu soon.

Unfortunately we will not be attending the Grafton Farmers Market this week. We are pretty short handed on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and it takes a lot of hands to get the market together and to serve everyone, this week I do not think we can swing it. So we are going to not attend but keep the store open in the afternoon.

On Wednesday we will be open 7 am -5 pm at the store only. No Farmers market for us. The market will be open from 2-6 without us, stop and get you bread here and then stop by the market for all the other wonderful stuff.

That is it for now,
See you at the store,
Chuck

Happy Friday Bread Lovers!

Interesting factoid, did you know that Friday is named after the Norse Goddess Fribrot? Yep, Fribrot was the Goddess of bread but not because she made bread. The story is that she saved a village that was being attacked by an armada of marauding barbarians. As the boats came up the river to the village she cast bread into the water and magically, it absorbed all the water and the boats had to turn back, thus saving the village. Her legacy is that bread is a life saver (we knew that already) and never go out in the rain with bread. True story, I read it on the internet.

And thanks to the Goddess Fribrot, we put bread in bags… rainy days are no worries!

We are open today till 5:00 pm. Lots of new and fun things in the case. Most of the bread is out but we continue to bake till mid morning.

Hope everyone is enjoying the last of the summer! September starts on Tuesday, how did that happen?

Stop by and grab some bread on this beautiful Friday.
See you at the store.
Thank you,
Chuck

Ps… I might of made up that story about Fribrot….

Morning Bread Lovers!

Now, you might think today is another ordinary Thursday but you would be incorrect. Today is not just Thursdays, today is actually a super important day, a day of historical immensity, a day that will be burned into our collective memory for generations to come. Yes, today is pizza day at Bread Guy Breads. (I just got shivers down my spine… I’m sure you did too.)

What does that mean? It means today we have a sourdough bakery pizza and a bunch of breads, rolls and pastries. It means, lunch is taken care of, it means you don’t need to cook for dinner, it means distracted driving, (put the pizza down, the cheese bite are for eating in the car)

We are open and pizza is ready, savory rolls just can out of the oven (pesto, ricotta tomato, a corned beef and Swiss, and a chicken parm.) And… we might have a couple of additional choices for breads and pasties.

Open till 5:00 pm
See you at the store!
Thank you,
Chuck

Good Morning Bread Lovers!

Happy Friday! Yes, it is that magical day, the day the week is over, (unless you own a bakery) and you get to have a day off, a day to relax, a day to wind down. That day usually looks like this: laundry, food shopping, getting ready for school, cleaning the house, cutting the grass... ah, it's a day off....

Not to worry, we can help you make it better. While you might have big list of things to do over the weekend, starting your busy day with a delicious pastry, a slice of bread, and a great cup of coffee makes it all that much better. Yep, study show that eating Bread Guy Breads products can increase your productiveness, brighten your mood and make you look incredibly handsome... I should know I did the research, on myself...

So, rainy, gray Friday, need to get through one more day? Answer.... you need to stop by for some carb loaded happiness.

Croissant cinnamon rolls, a Strawberry/Nutella Turnover, Peanut Butter filled blondies, danish, savory rolls, bread, english muffins, and soooooo much more.

See you at the store, 7 am - 5- pm.
Have a great Friday,
Thank you,
Chuck

Happy Friday Bread Lovers!

It was a great week, so many wonderful people visited the shop and got some bread and treats, I am such a lucky person, we have the nicest customers ever. Today we made some sticky buns because…. we could. We have our square danish like thingy… (still working on a better name,) and we have challah bread.

We have spent a good part of the spring and summer exploring some new breads and we are trying to figure out if we should continue to sell them.. Breads like the Sourdough Roasted Garlic Black Pepper Bread, the Sourdough Rosemary Chive Bread, the Sourdough Pickle Bread and the Sourdough Blueberry Lemon Bread are part of our research. I think we will keep them all but move them to a seasonal offering in the future. I love exploring new breads and I have a couple ideas for new types of wheat bread and breads that might use some alternative grains like spelt and einkorn flour… if there were only more hours in a day…

ANYWAY, Challah the store if you want to order, it’s the yeast we can do for you. Seriously, put us to work so we are not loafing around, you can crust us to fill your order and we knead to help you…. I’m definitely on a roll today.

AND, FYI… Here are some famous people that have stopped by our store this week… Bread Pitt was here, Bun Jovi stopped by the market and Clint Yeastwood is a regular, he likes crusty bread… who’da thought.

OK, OK, I will stop…

Open till 5:00,
See you at the store.
Thank you,
Chuck

Happy Pizza Day Bread Lovers,

Wow, what a quiet morning this morning. I think everyone in Central Massachusetts is on vacation. Point of evidence… did you see the pike the other day? We are open, and well, it is that special day of the week, the day that we collaborate with bakeries all over the known (and unknown) galaxy… yep, it is PIZZA DAY.

We have pizza, and bread, and pastry, and savory rolls, and… OK, this could go on forever… it is probably best that you come in and see for yourself. Everything is fresh, most of the bread is still a little warm and we have pizza (did I mention that already?)

AND, we have Grafton Cream Pies this morning. Why are they called Grafton Cream Pies you asK? It's because we don’t live in Boston, and they are made from puff pastry and not deep fried.

But wait… we have Blueberry puff pockets as well, and spinach, feta danish, and we are making the Cubano Savory Roll. It is a good day, I very good day...

Plan… stop by early and grab some stuff, then enjoy and repeat later in the day… It is a good plan, I thought of it myself.

Open till 5:00, lots of pizza and fresh bread, rolls and pastry.

See you at the store,
Thank you,
Chuck
