It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. After months of going back and forth about continuing to bake, I have decided to take a step back. Between my knee, my mental health, working a full time job and going to grad school, it’s just becoming too much. I have grown to have a negative attitude towards baking now that it’s more of a demanding job as opposed to a fun hobby. Most weekends are spent in the kitchen alone and I have very little time for my other interests like gardening, exercising, reading, camping, etc. It’s become extremely overwhelming over the last couple of months. I appreciate all of the love, support, kind words and encouragement over the last 5 years that helped grow my little business. It has been a pleasure getting to be a part of so many first birthdays, weddings, and so much more! Maybe I will come back to it down the road, but for now, it’s just too much and will only be taking orders from close family and friends if asked. If you have a future order placed with me already, whether this year or next, it is secure and will be fulfilled, but as of today, I will no longer be accepting orders. Thank you for understanding and happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mom’s on my page!
