What’s better than cheesecake? Cheesecake with a hint of orange sandwiched between a couple layers of carrot cake! What goes into a cake like this? 2 1/2 pounds of Philadelphia cream cheese (and no, I will not skimp on best brands!). Organic fresh squeezed orange juice (yep! A tang of orange is amazing in carrot cake and cheesecake), and use that orange zest! Organic raisins and eggs. Madagascar vanilla bean paste is used, also pricey. Shout out to King Arthur Flour as my go to. My cakes are never frozen and baked fresh per order. It’s a two day process for the cheesecake to set up properly. Why are my homemade bakery items more expensive? Because I will not skimp.
