Job Title: Production Supervisor (Second Shift) - Hudson Bread

Hudson Bread is renowned for our commitment to quality and sustainability, proudly serving an extensive customer base across the region. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our second shift operations at our state-of-the-art facility.

Job Overview:

As the Production Supervisor for the second shift, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our production operations during the evening hours. Your leadership will ensure our production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, meeting both our high-quality standards and production targets.

Responsibilities:

Manage 2nd shift production, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules.

Implement procedures to optimize production flow, minimize variances, and meet daily production targets.

Utilize ERP software to schedule production according to sales forecasts.

(Bilingual a Plus) Effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.

(Preferred) Leverage experience in artisan baking to elevate our product offerings.

Analyze production data, identify problems, and suggest improvements to optimize throughput.

Collaborate with General Manager to align production schedules with demand and minimize labor costs.

Complete weekly employee schedules based on the production plan.

Train new employees and provide ongoing training and support to all team members.

Direct employees in adjusting machines, equipment, and work processes to ensure product specifications are met.

Ensure smooth operation of the conveyor system.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of HACCP & SQF regulations.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Experience with production scheduling software (ERP preferred).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
