Hi Everyone! It's been over a year since my last post on this page.

I've downgraded it from "business" to "creator". We no longer have any business coming from this page - no more markets, photography, cake decor, or the beautiful crocheted and knitted items. Even our bee hives are down to one from the many hives we had in the beginning (long story). I'm not playing the begging and sell yourself game anymore, because that's what it felt like.

We still have our homestead. But I made the decision to focus on one page - my personal public page. Lots of stories and wonderful creations are shared there straight from the heart. I'm the happiest I've ever been and actually enjoy what I create much more without worrying how many times I need to post or the next big attention getter.

I'm keeping this page open, because many people find me this way. Plus, a lot of people/pages would lose a follower on their page (you all need those numbers, right?).

You all are beautiful people with so many talents, and I've enjoyed connecting with you. You are welcome to follow or friend me on my personal public page Jane Bee Gates. I wish you all the very best may each of you be blessed in this coming year each both individually & with your businesses.

One of the highlights of the North Augusta Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee was meeting Bailie, with an awesome Disgust Supermodel costume. We were delighted she agreed to pose with one of my latest creations! Isn’t she a sweetheart? 💚

Had to carry our roo, Rocky around for a few minutes while I got things ready for his new kennel beside the three girls he’ll be courting for a week before joining them. He’s such a gorgeous Australorp.

Normally I’d make a batch of chicken soup when someone in the house isn’t feeling well, but not today. Halfway into the day I started feeling a little rough & zonked out for a solid 3 hours. When I awoke I still wasn’t feeling 100%, so I decided to make a batch of French onion soup. All that olive oil & butter with onions simmering in a delicious beef based broth hit all my senses.

My handsome bought me some chicken muckers! Finally a pair that actually fit! I can wade through the mud & muck, stomp around in the chicken & rabbit coops, or run & jump in puddles.
Had to go into town today. Tshirt & shorts & my chicken muckers…handsome asked me “you going like that?”
Yeah, sure did! And he still held me hand, lol.
