2025 was a year. It was busy and hard and full of upheaval in the world. I worked hard to find the joy and there was joy. And fun. And I’m grateful for the people that make up my world. Cookies have been a place where I’m forced to tune out the noise and focus on teeny tiny details. And I’ve never been more grateful to be a part of all of your celebrations. Thank you to everyone who has ordered, who has shared my name with friends and who have interacted with my (few ) social media posts. I worked hard in 2025 at being more present in my life and in the lives of my people and cut way down on my online presence. This year I’m going to try and strike a better balance because I love all of the cookies I create and want to share them with all of you.

This was a labor of love for sure. Now that I’m posting it, I can see all the things to work on for the next one but I love so many of the little details. And I’m most proud that the 2nd floor stayed up. 🤣

This was my entry into my town’s Gingerbread Walk and I hope the lucky winner enjoyed it!

I’m really into those silly Netflix holiday movies and in my mind, this little gingerbread lady was burned out from her high level architecture job and took a last minute vacation to a small town upstate where she fell in love with a dilapidated building and decided to indulge her love and talent in baking. On a whim, she bought this building before it could be torn down and turned it into her dream bakery.

I have this one customer who always orders last minute, is hard to please and never actually pays for her cookies. When I presented these to her this morning, she cringed and said the recipient probably didn’t like Taylor Swift and wouldn’t like the Era cookie. 🤪

But she’s my 6th grader and I love her! She requested these for one of her teachers who will be out while recovering from a knee replacement. And will be missed a lot by my kiddo!

To my fellow last minute friends: I have some extra holiday goodies ready to go! I am offering two pickups at my house: Tonight from 7-8 and tomorrow from 8-10am. I’m calling this an open house, come shop, or just come have a glass of wine or a mimosa tomorrow and take a few minutes to sit and relax. :)
