Did you know that today is National Coffee Day?!
The top tier this festive wedding cake is chocolate cake with espresso buttercream, made (as always) with fresh espresso from our good friends at Futura Coffee Roasters next door!
We love sourcing our ingredients from folks who share our values, so our chocolate, coffee, and vanilla-based ingredients are always fair-trade.

There's a new Florist in town!

Salt Flower's Grand Opening is Tomorrow and you're invited!

Our new neighbors over at Salt Flower have beautiful flowers and gifts just a few doors down and tomorrow is their grand opening! Come explore the space, enjoy a free mini cupcake, and meet the owner, Laura!

Thanks to Laura's guidance, we've learned so much about preserving flowers at their peak. Just look at this wedding cake we delivered today!

Carefree Cakery is celebrating 3 years since opening!

Over the past 3 years, you have shared so many birthdays, anniversaries, and special events with us. We want to share our birthday with you!

It is because of this community's continued support that we've lasted this long, and we thank each and every one of you. We hope to keep baking the world a better place for years to come!

Come into the shop on Saturday, August 1st between 11am and 6pm to get a free slice of birthday cake while supplies last! As always, a gluten free and vegan version will be available for those who need it!

We appreciate you all so much, but we need a little break!

The shop will be closed from July 13th through the 20th!

What does that mean?

1. The storefront will be closed completely! No items will be available for purchase and no one will be available to receive phone calls.
2. If you have already placed an order for that week, don't worry - your order will still be fulfilled and we will contact you directly about your pickup.
3. We will be back to normal hours and have plenty of treats available on Tuesday, July 21st at 10am.
