A good loaf doesn’t need much to make an impression, and our homemade pumpernickel is one of those classics that speaks for itself.

With its deep, distinctive flavor and hearty texture, it’s a great bread to keep around for stacked deli sandwiches, toast, or simply slicing up alongside a meal. Like the breads Corropolese has been known for for generations, it’s baked with the care and quality that starts right here in our bakery.

Our small pumpernickel loaves are available in store, while large loaves are available by preorder only. Please note that our pumpernickel is offered without seeds.

The Reuben 🥪🔥

A Reuben is one of those sandwiches where every ingredient has a job to do, and when it all comes together hot off the grill, it’s hard to beat.

We start with our homemade rye bread baked right here at Corropolese, then load it with tender corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian/Thousand Island dressing. From there, it hits the grill until the rye is golden and crisp on the outside while everything inside gets hot, melty, and full of flavor.

The richness of the corned beef and Swiss, the tang from the sauerkraut, the creamy dressing, and that freshly baked rye make this a deli classic worth coming hungry for.

Sunday’s Sweetest Loaf 🥖🌶️

Some breads are part of the everyday lineup, and then there are the ones worth waiting all week for.

Our Roasted Sweet Pepper Bread takes our homemade bread dough and bakes our in house roasted sweet peppers right into the loaf, giving you pieces of roasted pepper throughout every slice. It’s a simple combination that brings together two things we take a lot of pride in making ourselves.

Whether you’re slicing it alongside dinner, building a sandwich at home, or tearing off a piece while it’s still fresh, this is one of those loaves that doesn’t need much else.

Chicken Italiano 🇮🇹🥖

There’s a reason some combinations just belong together, and our Chicken Italiano brings a few of our favorites onto one homemade roll.

We start with our chicken cutlets, then layer on sweet peppers that we roast right here in house, broccoli rabe, and provolone cheese. Everything comes together on your choice of our fresh baked seeded or non seeded roll, available in both regular and large.

From the rolls we bake ourselves to the peppers we roast in house, it’s a sandwich that brings a little bit of what we do best together in every bite.
