It’s been an eventful morning with my power sources going out and trying to keep my soups hot for you, but we are rocking and rolling now! 🤘🏼

Boynton's Greenhouse Skowhegan next Maker’s Market is TOMORROW! How time flies!

Make sure to stop by and check out all of the amazing vendors that will be present and be sure to bring your appetite! 🤤

All of my soups and sandwiches will be grab and go, ready to eat! No wait time, except for maybe a potential line. (Fingers crossed for that kind of wait! 🤞🏼😉😂)

There are four options for soup, and four options for sandwiches, check out the menu below! There will be an option (limited quantities and select varieties that will be specified tomorrow!) to do a half sandwich and half soup combo, in case you’re like me and simply cannot choose just one thing!

On a different, slightly related note, a new farmstand/bakery stand will be going up soon! I’m starting work on this week, so hopefully very soon it’ll be up and going! Stocked with baked goods from The Family Table Kitchen & Bakery, potentially eggs (we will see how well my ladies due laying this winter, still waiting for regular lays to resume after this hatching season has ended, but definitely eggs come next warm season!), and surplus produce from my own garden next season!

I may add a Little Free Library component to the stand, depending on how the community responds to the idea, too.

So, if Shadow Daddy’s cookies look to you, just wait until you see how I stock the stand! 😘 keep your eyes peeled for an update! 👀

Kents Hill Orchard always provides! The “rent a tree” program always makes us leaving feeling as rich as they come! 🤤😍

This is our third visit this year (the other two visits we took back 5-6 big bags of apples!) and our haul was HUGE! We had around 10-15 bags plus more that we needed to collect since we wouldn’t make it back before the end of the season and without more bags… we loaded up hoodies and tossed them in the bed of the truck! 🥴🫠

Needless to say, I’ve already been processing A LOT of applesauce, apple butter, and apple pie filling, but I’ll be making so much more! Plus apple jelly, apple juice, apple c***r vinegar, and more!

I am so excited Boynton's Greenhouse Skowhegan decided to go ahead with another Maker’s Market in October! 😍

Yours truly will absolutely be back again, this time with a mixed focus! Boyntons does have a couple food trucks lined up, but to give you guys a few more options, I’m going to be offering some soups and premade sandwiches! But I need YOUR help to ensure I’m bringing the best of the best! I’ll be posting a few polls on all of favorites from my soups and sandwich options! Top few votes of each will be on the menu! 👏🏼🤤

Very late post, but life has been WILD the last week!

Last Monday, I had the pleasure of joining the kiddos over at Birchwood Cottage LLC for a baking class! I think I speak for everyone when I say it was a success! 🤤🍪

The kids loved learning about the stand mixer, getting their fingers in the dough (after learning about proper hygiene in the kitchen!) our dance break to some swing tunes while we waited for the cookies to bake, and of course EATING the cookies!

10 out of 10, would work with these kids any day!

Also, while talking about Birchwood Cottage LLC, let me just say they are AMAZING! Clean environment for the kiddos, attentive staff, outsourcing enrichment programs, nice yard and play area outside, and awesome space inside! HIGHLY recommend! If you’re in the area and need childcare, I would recommend reaching out to Chelsea over at Birchwood Cottage LLC first! 👏🏼💯🫶🏼
