I was thrilled when Boynton's Greenhouse Skowhegan reached out and asked if I’d like to join their makers market! 😍 I’m IN LOVE with this greenhouse and all of the amazing souls that work here and I can’t wait to come back with some more of my baked goods!

It feels like a century since I was there as a pop last summer! Be sure to check out their makers market on September 19th! See you there! 🫶🏼

We have our 1st vendor lined up to be at our Maker's Market, Saturday, September 19th! Jaime-Jo of The Family Table Kitchen & Bakery will be here. I'm hoping she will have these fabulous Chai Latte crinkle cookies, because let me tell you, they are FANTASTIC!
I've also just heard Tessier Farm will be here with lattes and a lot more! I'm excited!
Tell me... What are you doing September 19th? Will you come to Boynton's between 10 and 3:30 for a good time? I really hope so!

Hey Fam!

I hope everyone has had an amazing summer! I can’t believe how quickly it has flown by and school is right around the corner! 😅

I want to take a moment to give you the update I promised a bit ago! I will be going through some adjustments and have some big and exciting changes coming to my professional life to help the overall well being of my family!

I have accepted a full time position as the Food Service Director at Community Regional Charter Schools! The is a new position for the charter school district as they were having all of their meals delivered from the Maine Meal. We are now switching to a farm and sea to table scratch kitchen model!

I am thrilled to bring my culinary creativity to these kids and provide them with a world of food they may not have been exposed to yet!

So, what does this mean for The Family Table Kitchen and Bakery?

Catering orders will slow down. If you are already in my calendar, you are safe! 💯 I am not turning away new catering, but will be more selective.

Custom orders are still welcome, but will be limited.

I will be stocking a new to come bakery stand from my sister page (mummumsmillionjobs) so my goods will still be available SOON for the public!

Also, it has been brought to my attention that I am not receiving your messages and YOU are not receiving mine! I have no idea how long this has been going on. I am trying to figure it out with Facebook, so hang in there with me, please! Feel free to text or call me in the meantime. My number is in my profile information!

Monday, Birchwood Cottage LLC had their second Little Chef’s class! 😍 this bunch is AMAZING! These kiddos are packed with personality and energy and their thirst for experiencing new things is so refreshing in a tech ruled era! ☺️

Their class level is youngest level- Honorary Taste Testers, an enriching activity to keep your kiddos curious, exploring, and experimenting with their food!

When our kiddos have a hand in the kitchen, it helps instill a sense of pride, independence, and helps to build better and healthier relationships with their food/diversity of their food! 🫶🏼

Monday’s class was more sensory focused, making taste safe playdough with dye free colors! Each participating kiddo was able to bring home a red, yellow, green, and blue container of playdough. The recipe we used, if kept in its container out of the sun when not played with, should last UP TO six months!

One of our kiddos found out quickly that just because it is “taste safe” doesn’t mean you necessarily WANT to eat it. 😂 since our kiddos will likely have access to all sorts of things in our presence and while away, I personally don’t believe it’s smart or safe to flavor taste safe ANYTHING, as to not confuse our babes when they have non taste safe products! So, taste safe does NOT equal yummy. 💯🥴🫠😂

I NEED someone to request a tiramisu tower, STAT! 👏🏼😍

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and remodeling of the demographics, for lack of better terms, for my by business. Myself and my family have a sea of changes coming, a new door opening for us, and with that, my business here will be changing, more intimate as I’ll have to dedicate time to other places of motherhood, partnership, and being an individual for my family. I’ll have a post on all that coming up this week.

BUT… tiramisu! I know you all love my classic cafè, the white chocolate raspberry, the blueberry lemonade, and the tres leches varieties I have put out! And I’m over the moon for the passion you all have for eating my tiramisu. What other varieties would you be interested in trying!? 🤔 maybe you have a variety you’ve never seen before but think it would make a great tiramisu!? I WANT TO KNOW! 🤗

Very late post, but life has been WILD the last week!

Last Monday, I had the pleasure of joining the kiddos over at Birchwood Cottage LLC for a baking class! I think I speak for everyone when I say it was a success! 🤤🍪

The kids loved learning about the stand mixer, getting their fingers in the dough (after learning about proper hygiene in the kitchen!) our dance break to some swing tunes while we waited for the cookies to bake, and of course EATING the cookies!

10 out of 10, would work with these kids any day!

Also, while talking about Birchwood Cottage LLC, let me just say they are AMAZING! Clean environment for the kiddos, attentive staff, outsourcing enrichment programs, nice yard and play area outside, and awesome space inside! HIGHLY recommend! If you’re in the area and need childcare, I would recommend reaching out to Chelsea over at Birchwood Cottage LLC first! 👏🏼💯🫶🏼

Found some yummy cheese at the Lilac festival last weekend! Creamy Acres Creamery had a delicious variety of cheeses and I figured some Mac and cheese was the perfect excuse to use their mozzarella! 😍

Run on over and get the goods before they’re gone! 💃🏼🤗

The Lilac Festival is off to a great start this year! 😍

The weather is cooperating, the people are cheery, and you can simply feel peace in the air!

If you need something to do today, come out to Augusta and check out the Lilac Festival until 4:00! My goodies are going fast today (thank you, friends! 🙏🏼🥹) but there are SOOOO many other worthy crafters, makers, small businesses, and food trucks as well!

Are you sick of W🤭lmart!? Or all the other big name box stores that supply us “food” full of addictive chemicals, harsh dyes, and only the stars know the reality of all the poisons that are “FINE because we’ve been eating them for years”…

Yeah… about all those years we’ve been eating this STUFF… have you noticed a change in your body? Your energy? Skin? Hair? Hormones? Mental health?

Yeah… BUT ITS ALL FINE! 🥴🫠🤗

This family shares the same values for our bodies as I do! Once you try the change and give it an honest chance, you don’t even want to go back. You can TASTE all the crud after you eat the clean equivalent.

This is why I am here for you! YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT, TOO! You just need to be mindful of where you source that cake if you want the above issues to lessen. 🙃

Everything I make for you is scratch made with non bioengineered ingredients. Simply whole real foods. Intentionally woven together to create a thoughtful and delicious meal or treat that nourishes not only your soul, but your BODY AND BRAIN, too!

Also, it’s been brought to my attention that I “haven’t posted a menu” in a hot minute. I thought I had been, but I guess they haven’t been saving and totally my bad for not periodically checking! So, after the weekend, I’ll be looking into other platforms!

I need YOUR help!

I’ve been looking for a local company that makes their own ice cream that I can outsource from. I simply don’t have the time to add ice cream to my production list!

I’ve reached out to a couple local/semi local businesses but either haven’t heard back or they don’t sell out their ice cream, they simply make it for their own products.

What are some of YOUR favorite ice cream spots locally that make their own ice cream!?
