When it feels like Fall you must immediately bake pumpkin bread and bust out the pumpkin mugs.

(This first loaf of the season was an experiment in the bread maker. First sweet quick bread I've made in it. The bread is not consistent with some flour on the outside crust, and a thicker layer of pumpkin near the bottom of the slice. Next time I will mix the ingredients myself then bake. My bread maker is more consistent with yeast breads that don't have an ingredient like pumpkin which is wet and thick. Next time I'm also adding more spices and exchanging half of the white sugar for brown sugar.

Pro tip: Always start with a basic recipe. Then change one or two things each batch until you make it truly your own and perfected to your tastes.)
