I highly recommend not trying to dice apples When you are experiencing blindness from an optical migraine LOL! I didn't make quite as many spiced apple treats as I wanted to today because this morning I had several of them back-to-back. And since I'm quite fond of all of my fingers I stopped while I was ahead. An optical migraine is such a weird experience. If you've never had one, mine start with a pinpoint Sparkle in the middle of my vision. It's slowly spreads into a circle that has void in it. The edge is like a shining kaleidoscope of geometric shapes and colors but all very bright followed by the interior being very, absent.. that's the best way I can explain this type of blindness for me. Bright shining sparkles but at the same time nothing at all. Anyway, just thought I would share that tidbit with you!
I'm headed to the Langhorst Natural Farms farm stand right now with:
blueberry scones,
chocolate chip scones,
blueberry muffins,
spiced apple muffins,
banana bread,
spiced apple sweet rolls,
and garlic butter stuffed dinner rolls.
There's still a few items in the freezer that thaw and warm up beautifully. I hope you're able to make it over to try some of our goodies!
And as usual, I will see those who place their orders at the Norman Atwoods pickup spot this evening.
