Gearing up for homecoming which is in 2 weeks! This group of RSLA members are learning 3 songs to sign on the football field during the homecoming football game on Saturday, September 28th against North Dakota State. Hope to see you at our RSLA parade at 10:00 a.m. or at our College of Education tent during pre-game festivities or at the football game! Go Redbirds!

Our RSLA Board members and participants volunteered last Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at CEFCU Arena at ISU campus for the One Day One Community One Million meals event. So proud of our RSLA organization to give back to our local community and the community that is OUR state of Illinois. This was in conjunction with Good Neighbor Month which partnered with State Farm, US Hunger and Illinois State University. This Million Meal Pack will provide packed meals to food pantries across McLean County and the state of Illinois to help those individuals and families. Great job RSLA!

Just a friendly reminder that RSLA will be having a picnic after the ASL Pop-Up workshop next Saturday, September 21st from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Quad area on ISU campus near State Farm Hall of Business. You are WELCOME to attend. It is not required for you to purchase lunch from us. You can bring your own lunch and join the fun. If you want to support us, you can purchase Jimmy John's sandwiches which will come with chips, cookie and a drink for $10.00. QR Code is on the flyer. Hope to see you there!

WOW! A huge success for RSLA! 87 people attended our first meeting of the semester! We enjoyed talking to everyone at the SED Meet and Greet and we are SO HAPPY that our first meeting was such a success! It was great meeting everyone. We can't wait for this year with you all! Freshmen and transfer students, SED wants to meet you! Please join us on Wednesday, September 4 at 4:00 PM at Redbird Plaza behind Fell Hall.

You will have the opportunity to meet your fellow SED students, faculty, and staff. Our SED ambassadors will help you solve a campus scavenger hunt to learn more about places that are important to SED. There will be prizes to win and free SED swag too!

Following out Meet & Greet, you can head over to the COE Back to School Kick-Off on DeGarmo Patio. Check out our education-related RSOs, get some food, and have some fun! We can't wait to meet you!
