Moving into month 6 of posting, and your girl is exhausted!
It’s not the baking or cake-making that’s wearing me out—it’s the whole process of posting and putting everything together. It’s a lot to handle. If you don’t have a passion for social media, it’s nearly impossible to keep up unless you hire someone.
Y’all know I love the Internet, and I’m always willing to try new things. But balancing this with work and school? Whew, I feel like I was buggin’.
But I’m gonna keep going, just for me! I love (out)doing myself, staying accountable. LOOK AT YOU GROW, GIRL! Integrity and all that—so proud of myself!

Quick update: back in October/November, I found out I couldn’t do both of my internships this summer, meaning I wouldn’t graduate this summer. I had a COUN 670 class to complete that wasn’t offered at my university and was instructed to take it elsewhere. I struggled in my trauma and crisis counseling class, and had to sit out a semester for job-paid tuition.
Fast forward: I won’t graduate until next summer (oh well, lol). I failed that class but I’m retaking a different elective this summer. The university initially denied my tuition assistance but then approved it, so school is covered now (what a rollercoaster). And guess what? I finished COUN 670 with a B+ in just three weeks!
