I found this video in my drafts from before Christmas and realized I never shared it. It’s raw, it’s a little silly, and yes, there is some "kitchen language" involved because sometimes my brain just doesn't want to cooperate! 😅
I’ve always loved the process of making things from scratch, even when it gets messy.
Baking isn't always perfect or pretty, but the end result (like those Brown Butter Toffee cookies I just posted) is always worth the stress. Thanks for being here for the real version of me!

Finding my spark in the kitchen again. 🍪✨

I’ve been leaning into my crafty side lately, and this week, that happened with a mixing bowl instead of a crochet hook. I really wanted to focus on the textures and flavors of a classic, and these Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Toffee cookies definitely hit the spot.
There is something so therapeutic about the process: the nutty smell of the browning butter, chopping up the big chocolate chunks, and that perfect sprinkle of sea salt at the end. I was aiming for that balance of a soft, chewy center with the crunch of the toffee bits, and I’m so proud of how they turned out.
I’m not quite ready to open up the order books yet, but it feels really good to be back to the "art" of baking and just enjoying the process of creating something delicious for the family.
