This cake is a perfect example of why I love making kids their birthday cakes. You want an underwater themed cake with a cartoon of yourself in a submarine? On it.

The squid gives me life on this one. And that crab and I had words. His little claw kept falling off and yes his eyes look a little crazy, because have you ever met a crab? They’re crazy.

I’m very thankful for our decision to book an RV site at Normandy for the duration of the World Cup so we had a reprieve from the chaos. The pools have been life saving.

Enjoy your weekend, cake fans! Hoping the World Cup chaos is minimal and the biggest annoyance is that I can’t rock the cake cabinet today bc of road closures. Bread presale will be live by the end of today for a THURSDAY pickup next week (there’s a game Friday).

Edible cookie dough. Gone.
Cupcakes. Gone.
Regular chocolate chip cookies. Gone.
Cake cones. Gone.
Freeze dried candy. Decimated.
Macarons. Practically gone (rest will be making their way to my kids’ school for teacher gifts!)

I’m pretty blown away by today. Thanks for showing up and supporting small businesses. I always love seeing your faces!

I won’t be at the market next week. But will be posting a sourdough presale for pickup next THURSDAY and will have the cake cart rocking. There’s a World Cup game next Friday so you won’t be able to get anywhere near me, my street will be closed to non-resident traffic. 🫠
