You don’t need a huge starter. I promise.

Keeping a tiny starter helped me establish a routine for feeding my starter once a day and keeping it at room temperature (vs feeding once a week and keeping it in the fridge). My starter has never been happier.

It’s unfortunate that you can’t smell this video, but I can share my *second* favorite thing about pulling bread out of the oven... the crackles!

My oven fan is loud, but if you listen carefully, you can hear these fresh loaves crackling as they cool.
