Tired of blueberries yet? Nah, neither are we! This Saturday (8/29) at our cafe, a small batch of our beloved cinnamon rolls have had their buttercream frosting replaced with blueberry maple caramel! Fresh Michigan blueberries were sinmered in our dutch ovens to a velvety-smooth reduction, incorporated into a house-made maple caramel, and generously poured over our classic cinnamon rolls. Get your hands on one while they last!

Back for a limited time: Chimichurri Roast Beef w/ Roasted Peppers & Candy Onions.

Chimichurri is a sauce that packs a flavorful punch! A little red chili pepper and fresh garlic give it a kick that stops just short of spicy. Fresh, finely chopped parsley and oregano, along with lemon juice and red wine vinegar bring even more to the party - and that’s just the sauce!

We roasted loads of locally grown peppers and onions until they got all sweet and melty. And then there’s the tender, savory roast beef.

Finally, all that goodness gets smashed together inside a slice of our 3-Cheese Focaccia.

These will be available at our cafe every day this week. So, come try one for yourself and let us know what you think!

Have you seen our amazing mural yet?! While we were on summer break a few weeks ago, Aly Kirkham aka That Painter Chick painted an incredible mural on the north side of our building. Aly incorporated so many of our favorite things including peonies and dahlias, native plants like milkweed and echinacea, herbs like chives and mint, that gorgeous monarch butterfly and other pollinators, and of course some of your neighborhood bakery’s most popular treats.

We couldn’t be happier with the result and we hope it brightens your day every time you visit us!

We’re back from vacation and can’t wait to bake for you this week! Now is the perfect time to place your preorder for pickup on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday at our Bakery Cafe!

This week’s preorder menu includes Blueberry Crumble Muffins (freshly picked in Michigan!), Country Loaf, Frosted Sugar Cookies, and so much more. Don’t forget to add your local produce to your order as well!

Final week for the Peach BBQ Pulled Pork! Get it for breakfast or lunch, but get it before it’s gone. We’ve also got the house-made Peach BBQ Sauce available in the retail fridge if you want to keep savoring the sauce after the sammie says, “So long!”.

Also, reminding you that we’ll be closed next week (Wednesday 8/5 - Saturday 8/9) for our summer vacation. We’ll resume normal hours on Wednesday, August 12th. Don’t forget you can preorder and stock up on bread, granola, and more for pickup this Saturday!

Hey neighbors! This week’s preorder menu is posted and ready for you at debbiesdaughters.com! This week’s list includes our Roasted Garlic Country Loaf since our friends at have been providing us with the biggest, most beautiful heads of garlic we’ve ever seen.

And, if you haven’t tried preordering produce yet, this week is a great week to start. We have loads of fresh produce from two local farms - everything from tomatoes to carrots to salad greens.

The Peach BBQ Pulled Pork was so popular this week, we had to roast more! So, we decided to also serve it up for breakfast. Our Peach BBQ Breakfast Sammie is stacked with slow-roasted pulled pork, peach bbq sauce, egg, and provolone cheese. And, now that we’re restocked on pork, the lunch sandwich is back on the menu, too. Sorry to those who visited today and could smell the pork roasting, but couldn’t try a sandwich. 😭 Come see us tomorrow and we’ll get you well taken care of. 🍑🐷

‘Tis the season to be PEACHY! 🍑 Many of our neighbors have been enjoying fresh peaches available by the quart and our made-from-scratch Peach Lemonade.

Starting this week, we’re also serving a very special, seasonal sandwich at the bakery cafe - our Peach BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich! Dry-rubbed, then slow-roasted for ten hours, this pork is fork tender. Topped with our house-made Peach BBQ Sauce, pickled peaches and red onions, balancing the sweet and rich pork with a little crisp tartness. Come grab one for lunch, while they last!
