Tomorrow’s (6/6) Special Breakfast Sammie is Green Eggs and Ham. This time of year, one of our favorite things to get from our local farms is garlic scapes. These are the tender shoots that sprout and eventually flower from garlic bulbs in the spring. They bring a delicate garlic flavor that you just have to experience to understand. We also add green onion and parsley (all from our friends at ) to the eggs to make them “green.” Then, each sammie gets layered with ham and harvarti cheese on our classic brioche.

We’re back feeling refreshed and so excited to bake for you this week! Our preorders are live, and Saturday pickup is available for anyone who hasn’t placed an order yet. Preorders are the best way to ensure you get your weekly staples, like bread, granola, and cookies, and to help us plan how much to bake.

We’re open Wednesday-Saturday 8am-2pm. We’ve missed you and can’t wait to see you soon. We love being your neighborhood bakery!

Our hearts go out to everyone who’s had their hearts set on a beautiful, sunny Saturday for the Indiana Peony Festival. There are still plenty of brick and mortar shops and restaurants to visit today and hopefully the weather cooperates for a perfect day tomorrow instead.

Come visit us here at your neighborhood bakery today from 8am-2pm. We’ll shelter you from the rain and fill your belly with baked goods and coffee. 😊

🌸 IMPORTANT FESTIVAL UPDATE 🌸

After closely monitoring the weather overnight, and after doing everything we could to keep today’s plans in place, conditions have unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. Due to storms and high winds, we’ve made the difficult decision to move today’s Indiana Peony Festival to tomorrow (Sunday).

We are so incredibly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Our vendors, florists, artists, and partners have spent months preparing for this day, and they would truly appreciate your support tomorrow more than ever 🌸

Same time, same place — just one day later.

In the meantime, our amazing downtown businesses participating in Brunch & Blooms are open, ready, and excited to welcome you today! If you’re still planning to be out and about, we hope you’ll stop in, shop, dine, and enjoy all the peony festivities they’ve prepared for you 💐

Saturday the 16th, is something going on around town? 😉 Whether you’re visiting our neighborhood for the Indiana Peony Festival or you’re a Saturday regular, we have some special treats in store for you. We picked up fresh strawberries from Spencer Farm and baked Strawberry Crumble Muffins and Strawberries and Cream Brioche Buns!

Coffee Cinnamon Rolls are back for one more weekend, too, and this is also your last chance for our Chicken Salad Sandwich since we’re closing for vacation from May 20th-30th and it will not return to the menu when we return from break.

Join us for lunch to brighten up your day!

Our Chicken Salad Sandwich is on the menu this week. Our take on chicken salad is so refreshing with finely diced celery and mandarin orange segments, and everything is sandwiched in our poppyseed brioche roll.

We also have our Turkey Avocado Sandwich! Hand-carved turkey breast, fresh avocado spread, greens, and cheddar cheese are sandwiched between lightly toasted rustic wheat bread.

As always, we have a selection of small batch, from scratch baked goods and our espresso bar with housemade syrups!

Are you wanting to make delicious sourdough bread but not quite sure where to start? Our Sourdough 101 Class on Saturday, April 25 is the answer!

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make our Country Loaf, a staple in our Bakery Cafe! will teach you everything you need to know about caring for a sourdough starter (including sending you home with your own) and using it to make fresh sourdough bread. You’ll learn techniques for folding, shaping, and scoring your dough and leave with the confidence to repeat it at home!

Saturday (4/4) only - Carrot Cake Cinnamon Rolls! We start with our classic cinnamon roll dough and add in roasted carrots, swirl in cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, then add chopped walnuts. Finally, we top them with a cream cheese frosting and a few more toasted walnuts.
