Had to share… this is the best beef jerky I’ve EVER had!! It’s softer- and delicious! Found it at Costco. Definitely adding this to my list every time I go there. Jeez. Can’t believe how good it is. Go try some if you like jerky! Great for in the car when you get peckish and need something healthy and delicious. Would be good in your kids lunch boxes as well…

I am coming back into town one last time- 10/5-10/08. If you would like to order some gluten free items during those days- please comment below what you'd like to see me have. I'm thinking Oatmeal cream pies, browned butter chocolate chip cookies (baked or frozen), almond croissant cookies, fluffy biscuits (baked or frozen- plain, cheesy or jalapeno cheddar), macarons, mac-mallows (1 macaron shell w/homemade marshmallow piped on top, then dipped in chocolate), pumpkin chocolate chip bread (GF/Dairy Free), etc.

My menu for pre-order will be posted Sunday at 9am, so get your suggestions in before then!

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that The Sweet Deal has closed for good. I am in Chicago helping my mom- and this is where I’m needed at this time.

I appreciate all my loyal customers, and have truly enjoyed providing celiac safe yummy treats for the 417 land. Having said that- I am in talks with this farmer who will be taking over doing what I have done. I’m sharing my recipes with him, that are tried and true. So- eventually you will see my products again, it’ll just take some time to get that rolling. I will update on that progress more- as soon as I know more.

There are Gluten Free: Cinnamon Rolls, Thin Mint Cookies, Brookies, GF/Dairy Free: Brownies & Banana Bread at the HYVEE on Sunshine in Springfield.

The bakery will be closed this next week- 07/31-08/07, so if you'd like some items to tide you over- please let me know! Available by RESERVATION ONLY- pickup MONDAY OR TUESDAY:

Thin Mint cookies, pop tarts, biscuits/cheesy biscuits, pretzel buns, Granola Bars: chewy chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, crispy rice chocolate(like "Star Crunch", protein granola bars, as well as frozen items.

I would stock up on some granola bars for school lunches/easy snacks!

Open until 6pm with gluten free: Garlic Cheesy Biscuits, Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, Browned Butter Chocolate Chip BACON cookies, Oatmeal Cookies, Brookies, Pop Tarts(Strawberry or S'mores), and Oatmeal Spiced Pies(like the oatmeal cream pies, but with a cinnamon allspice Swiss buttercream filling).

GF/Dairy Free: Zucchini Bread, Choc Chip Zucchini Bread, Brownies, Cookies N Crea, Brownies.
