I have been focused on food and clothing/neccessities recently but I always help with stockings for our local senior citizen center. These are usually filled with basic things like brushes, gloves, soap, and toiletries. With a couple fun things like pens and crossword puzzles sprinkled in. I usually spend $15 on each senior - so if you would like to sponsor one, or even drop off your own stocking, I know Rita and her seniors always appreciate it! Some of these seniors don't have any family or visitors so this really brightens their Christmas!
Venmo- -adams-1 if you want me to shop for you. I usually buy things in bulk to help with costs. Or you can drop off a stocking at the Jessamine county senior citizens center (Behind warner elementary)

The fact that so many people are going to lose their food benefits this weekend breaks my heart. If you are local and are in need of food, please message me. No judgement. I'm going to be putting together some food care packages next week.

I'm thinking Mac n cheese, tuna/canned chicken, peanut butter crackers, pasta and pasta sauce with meat already inside, rice packets, canned fruit and veggies.... open to suggestions!

Also... If you're at Sam's this weekend and want to grab some things to contribute, I can arrange to pickup! Or if you just want me to do the shopping, I'll drop my Venmo in comments as well. Together maybe we can help a few more families ❤️
